WARNING! Beware of Nouman Ali Khan

Nouman Ali Khan has taken a page from US president Donald Trump’s handbook of ‘How to be a expert rodent’

The #Trump effect.

What are the similarities between #Trump and #NoumanAliKhan ?

Read more and find out..!

Nouman Ali Khan a popular Muslim preacher is on a dangerous trajectory and Muslims of all, practicing or non practicing, must be aware of his deliberate attempt to disregard classical core beliefs of Orthodox Islam; crucial tenants of the faith which anchors a person to traditional Sunni Islam. It’s not been long since he was caught in a firestorm of a scandal which spread across the world through social media as a result of which he has come to be known as the “vanilla Imam”. Giving the benefit of doubt, I decided be on the fence rather than join the social media black belt keyboard warriors and what they had painted him out to be; an older creepy middle-aged man trying to groom a younger girl/lady into illicit relations.

The “Vanilla Imam”

Having managed to survive that scandal and claw his way back to some degree of redemption, Nouman Ali Khan is now unashamed of anything, ‘if I can survive this, I can survive anything‘ and is not holding back any longer on any of his twisted beliefs. A man who has survived a scandal and come out of the other end without bruises or cuts seems to think all the years of the cabinet of curiosities he has kept hidden away can finally now get displayed, clearly knowing he will not lose any of his dedicated fans who swoon on his every word.

In a growing line of controversies under Nouman Ali Khan the latest exploit causing an uproar, (and rightly so) is using his global reach to dishonour and ridicule the noble and glorified status of the Prophets of Allah (may peace be on them all). On his Facebook page which has over a million “likes” he highlights how the father of mankind Adam (peace be on him), was a failure, and how all our lives began with a failure, an uncanny Christian belief which he has clearly taken and adopted, known as “the original sin“. A set of dogma which teaches all humans born into this world are born sinful due to the sin committed by the father of humankind, Adam (peace be on him) astagfirullah.  In his latest Facebook post he claims Adam (peace be on him) was a failure and this is the reason why our lives begin with failure.

Going after the honourable status of the Prophets of Allah azzawajal; dishonouring their legacy and the powerful rejuvenating teachings they have left behind is tantamount to disbelief in the essential core beliefs of Sunni Islam. This blasphemous attack is coming on the back of another dangerous repugnant statement he made with regards to the master of the Prophets (peace and blessings be on him), in which he said Rasulallah (peace be on him) “became” a Muslim when angel Jibrail (peace be on him) came to him with the first Quranic revelation.  La hawla Quwata illah billah, astagfirullah! A man clearly out to cause as much controversies as possible. (watch here)

Instead of trying to be relevent for his large fan base by attempting deal with issues of the day head on, when droves of young Muslims are having serious doubts about their faith due to the onslaught of virulent Atheism in which some are becoming the mouth pieces of the far right, openly rejecting the faith and ridiculing it, Nouman prefers to pick on non issues, to spur on his elaborate marketing ploy by attracting free publicity for his business, – being the centre of social media discussions across the Muslim world undoubtedly brings in extra revenue through word of mouth publicity!

Adam (peace be on him) and all the other Prophets and Messengers of Allah were sinless and certainly not “failures” even before they were “officially” ordained as prophets and messengers of Allah.

When Adam (peace be on him) ate the forbidden fruit he did it out of forgetfulness and did not do so deliberately to rebel against the command of Allah unlike the cursed Shaitan. Islamic scriptures are clear on anyone who commits an act out of forgetfulness even a “sin” the deed is not counted against him as “sin”, instead overlooked as a simple mistake and he or she has not become a failure. There is a difference.

Muslims around the world should be aware of such off-the-cuff attacks on core beliefs of Sunni Islam. Otherwise anyone who prefers to ignore these types of comments is willingly joining the growing bandwagon of muslim liberal feminism who have begun to openly lambast the best of best, the prophets of Allah azzawajal. This slowly pushes a person into the abyss of the religion of pluralism, a dark and twisted belief mechanism which  essentially teaches all religions are true and are avenues to Allah; something that is unfortunately gaining traction among the social media celebrity Imams and orators.

Nouman has taken a page out of the US President Donald Trump’s handbook of “how to be an expert marketing strategist”. Everyone is well aware how nothing is off-limits for the narcissist president who often makes bombastic comments and remarks  on anything, always causing controversies and firestorms of condemnations from across the world.

It’s good for his brand and businesses, creates awareness; this is the ultimate reason why he does it.

His crazy outbursts always ensures he is in the news and people from across the world are talking about him on TV, internet, radio, forums, social gatherings, ultimately benefiting the “Trump” brand and makes him more known to people who may not be aware of him, playing the age old game of name and fame..

Nouman Ali Khan is doing exactly the same. By increasing his outrageously dangerous comments it ensures the limelight is always flashing on him and this (for him) is all the FREE business advertising anyone can dream of.

Lastly, Nouman Ali khan should make a public tawbah and retract his insane remarks and make amends for his mistakes. Unless, like #trump Nouman Ali Khan also never apologies for anything he utters instead twists to get through his agendas.

Islam is in the spotlight now more than ever before and this has caused people to question the faith itself and none more so than the new-age modernists muslims, largely from the convert western countries who are hell-bent on reforming Islam and its traditional values. This blog is a small space in the vastness of the internet where the fight to preserve, uphold and dignify the traditional inherent human values, are proactively argued against the onslaught of modernist propaganda and hate. Covering topics from current affairs to life-enriching inspirations, though to the traditional teachings of the pious and the awliyah of the past and the present. I must commend the author on a well written piece of journalism, however this commentary of Norman Ali Khan is not reflective of his comments in context.

The original sin theme is defunked by the statement “it isn’t a story of failure. It is a story of what happens after failure”, the teacher then goes on to discuss how Adam was honoured.

I would advise the author the following
1/ To consider the teachings in context.

2/ To not deminish the teaching of divine knowledge by comparing them to contemporary sensational politics, it warps the comment.

Much of the so-called ‘Islamic discourse’ in our ‘communities’ is a tasteless repackaging of pop-psychology, moralistic platitudes, and Islamisized prosperity gospel, where the honor of the Prophets is fair game in the pursuit of making people feel better about themselves. And people eat it up. Fit the stories of the Prophets in a narrative of failure and redemption and you are ‘relevant’; exalt the Prophets and you are ‘out of touch’ or worse, boring and irrelevant. We have to do better. We shouldn’t tolerate people using the Friday pulpits to speak rudely of the Prophets, nor should we support ‘preachers’ and ‘teachers’ who repeatedly show indiscretion and insensitivity to their station.

His work and his personal life should not be compared. whatever he does privatly has nothing to do with anyone because just like everybody else his tawbah is between him and Allah and the victims if they are any it could all be a conspiracy against him. The story of Adam if read properly is about what he became after the fall and NOT about his failure I mean all you have to do is look at yourself and realise that life is full of challenges not always will we make the right choice hence feeling like a failure but not actually failing but falling like a child it falls a lot before it learns to walk. Rest assured Nak followers maybe blind ie might not have eyesight but do have a mind which they use to make a choice to listen to him hopefully benefiting from his words of wisdom. I have personally met him and he is willing to go to any length to help anyone not just his followers so for me he is a hero

I agree! Be mindful when hurting anothrr Muslim with your tongue. This is also our practice based on Bukhari’s ahadith. Only Allah knows what has transpired between him and the women who allegedly accused him of his misconduct. Benefit from the good that is in all people and reject the bad. That is what I teach my children. He has taught much good. In regards to the prophets peace be upon them all and with great respect I ask for proof regarding their sinlessness. For some of the narrations in Quran say otherwise. We are all mortal after all. Did not Yunus defy Allah and tried to leave Ninevah when he was given clear instruction. That is disobedience is that not sin? Adam also disobeyed. You cannot say it was not deliberate only Allah knows his intention. The facts are that Allah taught him to seek repentence and forgave him??? That means he sinned. You cannot forgive unless a?sin is committed. Allah tells us to use our common sense. Do not make our beautiful prophets into something other than what they are which is human. Contemplate. Reread the?Quran. There are numerous examples. May Allah guide us all to the straight path. Ameen

Prophets are to be respected. Also they were taught to seek forgiveness so that we in turn might learn from them. Sins are not greater than Allah’s mercy.
However, arrogance and no accountability can make egos inflate even more so. In this case, nothing that has been taught by this particular person that isn’t avaliable elsewhere. Use your basic judgment. Great power means great responsibility, one should be aware and conscious of that at all times, more so for people representing a community and those who have a platform. They, then do not have the luxury of random slip ups and that too of this magnitude.

I have been a huge admirer of NAK’s work. But I have gone through the material on this and the pictures etc. He has lost my respect.

and NO his conduct and teachings can NOT be separately considered. A preacher who can not walk the talk is not the right person to be on podium. It is very dangerous that youth and impressionable minds are still accessible to him.

please do not blindly defend him, He has misconducted,,, but he is refusing to even acknowledge his mistake honestly and repent,, a 180 degree from great nabi he quotes as being mere humans and making mistakes. Yes, they made mistakes and they repented, NAK is just safeguarding his $$$ at bayyinah being obstinate and repulsively manipuating liar..

Assalamu alaikum. He who has not sinned let him cast the first stone. We are all made of clay, fallible. We take the good from all people Muslim or otherwise and reject the evil. We keep those who openly sin in our duas in the hopes that they will return to this blessed deen. We are not perfect. Do not condemn him. He has hope of repentance until his last breath. This is between him and our beloved creator.

The author of this article is blowing everything out of of proportion and context. No where did Nouman “dishonor and disrespect all the prophets” as you scream and yell. I read his post as you provided, and to me I understood a good point he made, which has a reference in the Quran. That prophet Adam sinned and yes he failed the test. Those were Allahs words, and lessons were made. You are clearly still tied up in the scandal, check yourself.

Thank you ustaad nouman ali khan for helping people in their journey of understanding and learning Quran. Allah has made you a medium for the noble cause by granting you exceptional communication skills. Your personal life is your personal life I have nothing to do with that. I’m here to appreciate and learn Allah’s word from you. People with no purpose in life have ample of time to think and write articles about what nonsense THEY think. Ustad nouman ali khan may Allah bless you and your family immensely. Ameen.
