The murder of Abdur Rahman Peter Kassig & what this means for ISIS/ISIL

The notoriety of the group which calls it self ‘the Islamic State’ has now been sealed in a fate largely crafted by their own hands. When Peter Kassig also known as Abdur Rahman Kassig, was recently murdered in a senseless act of barbarity it brought home a clear message (for all those who still haven’t seen it); The Islamic State of Syria & Iraq or ISIS as it is known is nothing Islamic or has anything to do with the teachings of Islam. In fact the group is Anti – Islam and a political movement in which Islam is a political football used to harness, control power and influence on areas they seek.

– Abdur Rahman Peter Kassig

In the middle-east religion is often used as a tool to manipulate people into submissiveness and control. The fact Abdur Rahman Kassig was a Muslim was no hindrance in stopping them from killing people. Instead Abdur Rahman Kassig was used to push forward their ruthless and murderous campaign. Their goal is clear, anyone who does not agree to their political view will be put to the sword (no pun intended). It does not matter if a person is Muslim or not, all will fall before the sword if they do not adhere to their world view of death and wanton destruction. It is clear no man in the right sense will kill another human being unjustly let alone a Muslim.
What makes this situation of Abu Bakr Al Bagdadi and his band of thugs worse is that naive often western bred young impressionable Muslims are pulled into the seemingly convincing argument ISIS is an Islamic initiative, whose sole intentions are to spread Islam. Furthermore, it is the self – taught, stubborn and rebellious young adults who are flocking to the appealing gangster-style activities of ISIS. A breeding ground to find all things in gang life, halalified; Murder, sex, rape, violence are the typical additives in gang culture. Where better to carry on this cycle of brazen activities than with a group that claims to be Islamic and promote it this lifestyle with vehemence and passion. It neednt be said ISIS is a cult dominant and lustful in seeking power, control, empire building and glory just like many of its previous versions of death cults. The Nazis, Marxists, communists, Leninists, maoists are all one and the same.

Abdur Rahman Kassig is not the first Muslim to be murdered by the ISIS criminals. He is the most recent and definately won’t be the last to be put to the sword.
ISIS are the offspring of the same khawarij that shed the blood of many companions of the prophet (sallahualihiwasalam) centuries ago, and will do much harm now to innocents who stand in their way. They fit the bill perfectly with large unkept beards and rough attitudes on life and those around them. Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahab was their predecessor who led the revolt against the ottoman empire in much the same fashion as ISIS. Killing many of the great ulema and learned men of different sciences from the hijaz area in the Arabian peninsula. These criminals will be dealt with and when they are Allah will make an example of them for using Islam to further their political objectives.

This blog is a small space in the vastness of the internet where the fight to preserve, uphold and dignify the traditional inherent human values, are proactively argued against the onslaught of modernist propaganda and hate. Covering topics from current affairs to life-enriching inspirations, though to the traditional teachings of the pious and the awliyah of the past and the present.
