The above video has caused some discussion, (to say the least) to occur amongst the cyber community. The video shows an incident which occurred over Jerusalem over the dome of the rock mosque. Where supposedly a UFO has been spotted hovering over the dome of the rock and then disappearing at almost light speed into the dark sky above. The footage, shot by a tourist shows how fast the round ball of light disappears into the sky, dazzling all those present. Now there are many theories and ideas which have been and are still being thrown around in the cyber world. Many claiming to have the ultimate answers, where as others are doubtful, and others completely writing it off as a hoax. One thing for sure though, this thing has got most people if not everyone talking. From an Islamic point of view however the ball of light could be anything, another creation of Allah? a Jinn? or simply its a trick that has got everyone for the most part fooled into talking/discussing about it. For me, its nothing strange frankly speaking. As there are almost countless number of creations of Allah out there which we as humans have not yet discovered, nor we can. As although it is the 21st century we have not even fully grasped how our own body works. Never mind investigating life outside earth. We do not even know what the sea world is made up of? which creature live there? etc. Every now and then new research are being published on how ‘new’ creatures living in the sea and on land are being discovered! so what to say about the rest of the 365+ galaxies which exists in our universe. Undoubtedly, there are other creations of Allah! The following picture puts things into perspective:
The size of our world
you can clearly see how the creation of Allah is a spectacle beyond spectacle. we are like the drop of water compared to the ocean. – In terms of our standing amongst the other creations of Allah. Now having said this, i therefore believe that the above clip shows some kind of creature/ possibly a jinn which happens to have been caught on camera. Further to this argument this clip here:
gives weight to the argument that these can in fact be the UFOs unidentified flying objects. Maybe they are a certain breed of the Jinn population or a different creation altogether, one thing we can all rest our heads against is, that we are not the lone creation in this universe. This brings us on to the unavoidable question of “do UFOs really exist?” well, how long is a piece of string? it depends on what one means by the term, UFO. for instance a person who has never seen a plane will undoubtedly think of it as being a UFO. take for example the ancient jungle tribes that still live in the deepest parts of the amazon rain forest. These people will, when they or if they were to see a plane hovering above the forest think its a UFO. Although they may not use the same terminology to describe what they see, by essence this is what they will mean to be as. Likewise on the other hand, yes definitely there is bound to be other creatures living side by side amongst us. Sharing this world with us which we are not aware of. The Jinn are one of these for example. so the question which science has been trying to answer for quite some time now can easily be answered from the Islamic or religious point of view. This leads me onto my final point that in areas such as these (extraterrestrial life/unseen world/life after death) science fails to answer questions miserably. This is where the real greatness of the Ambiyah and the awliyah (although they also have full knowledge of this world) out weigh that of the petty scientists.
