Just for Men.

I can’t help it but notice how silly some men look who are, lets say at least over the years of having black/brown or even blonde hair. They try their best to colour their hair in order to look young. I don’t know much about the other communities or how common this practice is. But in the asian sub continent this seems to be a growing trend. especially the people who come over, here in the UK are prime examples of this. One can clearly see that an individual has grey or white hairs all over his head or beard. But, despite this the individual ceases to believe so and as a result still dreaming of living in his ‘young days’ tries to present himself as looking young. The funny thing is though, everyone around him or anyone that sees him knows that he just used “just for men” hair colouring product to colour his hair/beard pitch black!
I am by no means against this, but only where sharia has allowed to do so. For example; if someone has a young wife or is in the battle field one can colour the hair in order to make the opponents thinks otherwise of his army.
anyway, what i am trying to say is those people or moreover the old folks who are still dreaming of their ‘glory days’, seem to be somewhat trapped in a time capsule. Although their body is a testament to the fact of getting old and will surely end up where everyone ends up. They are still deceived thinking they are still young and have time at hand to have that little extra pleasure they are seeking. By extension to this everyone is in this mind frame as well, we all think we have time, “im still young and strong” are thought which dominate the mind. Even the old folks who are drenched with using “just for men” hair colouring products think likewise. When in actual fact this is exactly the time when malikul maut (angel of death) appears to man. When he least expects to die, or something unfortunate to happen to him. Currently i am reading harunyahya’s (hafithul’llah) book, ‘The truth of the life of this world’. He begins with the image of an old woman. Underneath of which he says: “if you were to ask this woman how her life was, she would probably say it was a fleeting one. one which went by in the blink of an eye…” (paraphrased).
He then goes on to say if you were to further to ask her to recall all te events in her life, she will not be able to recall more than an hour of her entire life. at best, it will be up to 3 -4 hours. This clearly show how this life is only a fleeting journey. All her 60-70 years of life summed up in 3-4 hours! – this is a deep analogy which he (hafithul’llah) uses to highlight a point. A good and penetrating lesson for those who seek to understand and unravel the essence of life.

Islam is in the spotlight now more than ever before and this has caused people to question the faith itself and none more so than the new-age modernists muslims, largely from the convert western countries who are hell-bent on reforming Islam and its traditional values. This blog is a small space in the vastness of the internet where the fight to preserve, uphold and dignify the traditional inherent human values, are proactively argued against the onslaught of modernist propaganda and hate. First of all do you have a beard? The sin of shaving the beard is greater then applying dye to the hair or beard. Shaving the beard is resembling a womans appearance

Yes Alhamdulillah I have brother. Shaving is an act which was first done by the people of lut (alhis’salam) in the history of humanity. One historical fact I would like to mention here -if you didn’t know it already, is: Since homosexuality was widespread, one man would shave his beard to look like a woman for his ‘partner’! – nauzi’billah
My point is, I would never shave as this is the sunnah of these astray people.
